The Stade Nautique Rainier III opened at the end of April
The swimming pool at the Stade Nautique Rainier III water sports centre, situated on the Quai Albert Ier, opened on 28 April.
It is open to the public until 14 October 2012. Opening times vary according to the following three time periods:
From 28 April to 8 June: from 9 am to 6 pm
From 9 June to 9 September: from 9am to 8 pm
From 10 September to 14 October: from 9am to 6 pm
Since the closure of the skating rink at the beginning of March, extensive improvement works have been carried out at the centre: a new waterside area with non-slip tiles has been constructed, a barrier has been added to separate "Le Nautic" restaurant, all the lights have been replaced and the changing room and shower areas have been repainted.
Finally, the protective railings on the 5- and 10-metre diving boards have been completely refurbished, and a new spiral staircase has been installed.
These structures will be operational once the Grand Prix grandstand has been dismantled.
Diving enthusiasts will be pleased to rediscover the 1- and 3-metre diving boards, not forgetting the 45-metre slide, which will keep young children happy!
Closed every Monday at 6 pm, whatever the time period.
