Commemorating the 120th Anniversary of Monaco's Covered Markets
Monaco City Hall is presenting an exhibition entitled "Our Markets Over Time," which retraces the history of covered markets in the Principality.
This interesting exhibition is comprised of reproductions of photographs, lithographs and historical documents, as well as a film made especially for the occasion, shown on screens inside La Condamine Market.
The exhibition will run until 7 December 2014 under the arcades of La Condamine Market Hall, and in a reduced format in the gallery of Monte-Carlo Market.
On 22 November, from 12 p.m., Monegasques and residents are invited to join in the festivities at La Condamine Market with their family and friends, and try some of the products from the market.
Monaco's markets have been preserved for 120 years. They are places to meet, have a chat and do business and are an essential part of daily life in the Principality.
