Communication from Monaco Tourist and Convention Authority

04.11.2016  Business

The Tourist and Convention Authority is reorganising its Press and Communication Department

Corinne Kiabski, Deputy Director of Communication since 2012, is taking over as Director of the department, with Valérie Tomatis-Nouailhac in the post of Deputy.

The Communication and Press Department of Monaco Tourist and Convention Authority is responsible for relations with the international press and the Principality's press partners.

It coordinates all the Department's press events in the Principality and abroad in close collaboration with its 11 representative offices (receiving journalists, the written press, TV and radio, press conferences and media calls).

The department also manages Monaco Tourist and Convention Authority's social networks, Facebook and Instagram.

Following her training in law and international trade, Corinne Kiabski has devoted most of her professional career to the luxury industry, with 17 successive years as commercial attaché and press officer in Paris at leading fashion houses such as Sonia Rykiel, Emmanuel Ungaro and Georges Rech.  On her return to Monaco, she joined Monaco Tourist and Convention Authority's Convention Bureau in the year 2000, where she was responsible for international markets, and then joined the communication department in 2008.

With a background of history of art, cinema and theatre, and having occupied key posts in audiovisual and theatrical production and events organisation, Valérie Tomatis Nouailhac joined the Canal + group in 1997, where she helped to create the specialised channel Planète Forum, and occupied the post of Production Manager.  When she returned to the Principality, she became self-employed, continuing in the communication and production sector and dividing her time between Paris, Monaco and Dubai.  In 2011, she joined the communication department of Monaco Tourist and Convention Authority.
