On 15 June 2013, Elisa Jo will be stepping into the spotlights!
Elisa Jo, who is originally from Rouen, showed a talent for music at an early age. She learned to play the piano and guitar and gave her first concerts at the age of 11. She joined a rock band at the age of 15, which was a springboard for her future career.
At just 18, Elisa Jo is surprisingly determined and spontaneous, and her songs, melodies and exceptional voice show an unexpected maturity.
Two years ago, she starting posting her songs on Myspace. In a few months, more than 700,000 Internet surfers had discovered her music. She went on to give many concerts and was the supporting act for Coeur de pirate, Yaël Naïm, Zaz, June and Lula, Ron Sexmith, Alela Diane, and others.
Benjamin Biolay heard her demos by chance in a studio and was captivated by her voice and personality. Elisa and Benjamin went into the studio and came out a few days later with her first EP, "Back Around."
Benjamin is also producing her first album, which will be released at the same time as her stage appearance at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco.
