Since 1910, the Salle Empire (Empire Room) at the Hôtel de Paris has been the exclusive setting for some of the most elegant evening events in Monte-Carlo.
Every summer, the Terrasse Salle Empire (Empire Room Terrace) offers intimate dinners in a refined musical atmosphere, where the height of savoir-faire and excellence are reflected in the service, the food and the wine in the most charming way.
There could be no finer setting for offering a selection of seven vintage champagnes from the prestigious Louis Roederer firm, which first featured on the wine list at the Hôtel de Paris in 1866.
Whether you prefer white or rosé, each champagne, served by the glass, will delight you. Fall under the spell of the freshness and finesse of a Brut Premier, which remains a classic; be charmed by the fruitiness, elegance and sleek sensuality of the Rosé 2008; inspired by the strong personality of the Vintage 2007 or enticed by the intense freshness of the Blanc du Blanc 2008 or the incomparable precision of the Cristal 2006 – pure pleasure.
This is also an opportunity to discover a real gem, the 2002 Vintage Medallion bottle, a hand-made crystal Jeroboam, which takes four days to make and epitomises excellence and elegance. Three such bottles, out of several hundred sold throughout the world, are carefully tucked away in the wine cellar of the Hôtel de Paris, along with the 350,000 bottles of wine that can be found there.
