Every season, there are six "Concerts at the Prince's Palace."
In 1959, His Serene Highness Prince Rainier III and conductor Louis Frémaux inaugurated a summer season, which over the years, has become a must for music lovers from all over the world.
In July and August, the Prince hosts open-air concerts by the Orchestra and prestigious soloists in the Courtyard of Honour of the Palace, which is transformed into a magical musical venue.
The concerts at the Prince's Palace start at 9.30 p.m. and continue until around 11 p.m.

From 16 to 20 August 2016, the musical based on the 1992 hit film "Sister Act," starring Whoopie Goldberg, will be performed at the Opéra Garnier.
The story: Hidden in a convent after witnessing a murder, Deloris Van Cartier, a cabaret singer, revolutionises the nuns' choir, leading to a performance before the Pope himself …
Sister Act is performed every year in numerous theatres throughout the world. In this new production, directed and choreographed by Craig Revel Horwood, with musical supervision by Sarah Travis, Alexandra Burke, newly discovered star of the English X Factor, will play the role of Deloris Van Cartier. The troupe will give five performances at the Opéra Garnier Monte-Carlo.
