A British Christmas made in Metropole Monte-Carlo

22/10/2012  Food, palaces

This year, the festive season at Hotel Métropole Monte-Carlo will be a very stylish and very British affair, where aristocracy meets rock ‘n’ roll.

In keeping with its seasonal artistic themes, the Metropole Monte-Carlo will be dressed in red, white and blue putting British culture in the spotlight after an exciting and eventful year.

During their stay, guests will be invited to take afternoon tea in the Lobby Bar – one of the most
cherished and stylish British pastimes steeped in tradition. A quintessentially English afternoon tea
menu will be available with an impressive selection of scones and puddings. After tea children can post
their letters to Father Christmas in a red post-box situated in the Salon des Princes, facing the concierge
desk.

In addition to the menu, Head Barman Mickael Bellec has created the “Dry Métropole” selection
including a choice of Martini cocktails with a British twist.

Dining in the magnificent setting of the 2 Michelin star Joël Robuchon Monte-Carlo Restaurant, guests
will be able to experience the various festive menus created by Chef Christophe CUSSAC and his team. Guests can also choose to dine at Yoshi, the first Joël Robuchon Japanese restaurant in the world, which will offer an A La Carte menu.

From 22 November 2012 to 03 January 2013
