Summer fun by the sea for all the family from 8 July to 3 September 2017



On the programme: real-life and virtual adventures!

  • ImmerSEAve 360°: two films offer a unique dive beneath the oceans
  • Little Big Whale: The beautiful story of an old sperm whale and its travels across the great ocean.
  • Tubbataha 360°: no mask or snorkel needed – experience all the emotions of a dive without getting wet!
  • The Touch Tank: touch a starfish, feel the spines of a sea urchin, pet a baby Mediterranean shark...
  • Feed the animals in the Touch Tank: become part of the aquarium team and feed the species in the pool
  • I Protect the Oceans: the Oceanographic Museum invites visitors to discover something which is found all too often on the seabed and along our coasts – rubbish
  • Discovering Fluorescent Coral: as darkness descends, discover the mysteries of fluorescent coral around a 5,000-litre tropical pool.
  • Screening of the film Coral, Heart of the Ocean: follow the expedition of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco to the Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park.
  • “Tubbataha” exhibition: 21 photographs from the Tubbataha Reefs marine site, taken by Maria-Teresa Lara, Marissa Floirendo, David Doubilet and Jennifer Hayes, and presented in XXL format
  • The Museum illuminates the Whale Room and its skeletons with light and sound
  • Fish snacks: daily meal time for residents of the Shark Lagoon!
  • Feeding time: watch as one of our residents is fed and gain an insight into the activities and secrets of our aquarium facilitators!
  • BORDERLINE exhibition by Philippe Pasqua – 12 XXL format works (10 sculptures, 2 paintings). The artist challenges the public’s relationship with nature, death and rebirth (until 30 September)
