A new show for 2012 by "Les 7 doigts de la Main" (The 7 Fingers of the Hand) Company presented as part of the Monaco Dance Forum Festival from 20 to 22 July at Monaco's Grimaldi Forum.



"Les 7 doigts de la Main" are renowned the world over.  They are performing their latest work, SÉQUENCE 8, from 20 to 21 July 2012 as part of the Monaco Dance Forum.

This company has already delighted thousands of spectators with its breathtaking blend of circus, dance and theatre.

Universally acclaimed, "Les 7 doigts de la Main" are invited to perform at major events and opening ceremonies thanks to their amazing inventiveness.  Their finely tuned choreography and crazy dream world break down barriers between generations with a combination of originality and virtuosity.

SÉQUENCE 8 marks the tenth anniversary of this Canadian company that has given the circus a new look.  For the anniversary, these extremely talented young artists are offering a work that represents the best of the secret formula that has won them international recognition.  "Les 7 doigts de la main" are known for their human-scale performances that enable the spectators to identify themselves immediately with the characters on stage.

The quest for emotions that touch us directly drives them to achieve incredible physical feats.  This desire to bring people together through a performance that is both explosive and moving transports the audience of SÉQUENCE 8 into a waking dream.

The Monaco Dance Forum is a multifaceted festival, open to all choreographic influences.  Presided over by H.R.H. the Princess of Hanover and directed by Jean-Christophe Maillot, it is a privileged partner of this world première, which is itself situated at the crossroads of different artistic worlds.  "Les 7 doigts de la main" will be celebrating their anniversary in the Principality of Monaco and combining all their best elements to bring us an unmissable show.
