Summer Concerts at the Prince's Palace, Monaco

2012 Programme



The concerts at the Prince's Palace take place every summer, from 9.30 pm, in the cour d'honneur (main courtyard).

On the programme:

Thursday 12 July:  Krzystof Urbanski, conductor and Jean-Yves Thibaudet, piano will perform works by Leonard Bernstein, George Gershwin and Antonin Dvorak

Sunday 15 July:  Pinchas Zukerman will conduct and play the violin and will perform works by Mozart and Tchaikovsky

Wednesday 18 July:  Kristjan Jari, conductor and Gautier Capuçon, cello, will perform works by Brahms and Tchaikovsky

Sunday 29 July:  Jesus Lopes-Cobos, conductor, and Xavier de Maistre, harp, will perform works by Jules Massenet, Joaquin Rodrigo and César Franck

Thursday 2 August:  Christian Zacharias, conductor and piano in a performance of Beethoven

Finally, on Sunday 5 August, Lawrence Foster will conduct Ute Lemper in an original concert, a "European cabaret" with songs by Kurt Weill, Edith Piaf and Jacques Brel as well as works by Eric Satie and George Gershwin.
