More and more shows for everyone



The Monte-Carlo Opera's 2012-2013 season promises to be even fuller than the previous seasons.  Its Director, Jean-Louis Grinda, wanted to increase the number of shows while keeping prices low, so even the youngest spectators can enjoy a visit to the opera.

Programme for the 2012-2013 season:
9 and 11 November - "Il Duello Amoroso" by George Frideric Handel;
19, 22 and 25 November - "La Fanciulla del West" by Giacomo Puccini;
16 December - Recital of "Jules Massenet and Others";
20, 21, 22 and 23 December - "Man of la Mancha" by Mitch Leigh;
25, 26, 27, 30, 31 January and 1, 2 and 3 February:  "La Traviata" by Giuseppe Verdi;
8 and 10 February - Richard Wagner Concert;
24 and 26 February - "La Sonnambula" by Vincenzo Bellini;
6 March - Concert by Cecilia Bartoli;
22, 24, 27 and 29 March - "Amica" by Pietro Mascagni;
23 March - by Bryn Terfel "Bad Boys," Concert by Bryn Terfel;
20, 23, 26 and 28 April - "Stiffelio" by Giuseppe Verdi
