Located to the extreme south west of France, the Principality of Monaco unfurls over a narrow coastal strip of 4.4 kilometres alongside the Mediterranean sea, in the foothills of the Southern Alps.

Its particularly mild and exceptionally sunny temperate climate with more than 300 days of sun a year makes Monaco a naturally welcoming place.

Thanks to good links with Nice Côte d’Azur Airport, the Principality is accessible to everyone, by air as well as road. In fact, the Airport is only 25km away (6mins by helicopter shuttle), with the E80 Barcelona-Milan autoroute also serving the Principality.

Throughout the year, the Principality of Monaco is the setting for many events and dazzling celebrations which are not only artistic, but also cultural or sporting.
