Carnival Breeze is a Dream-class cruise ship, currently being delivered and will be one of the latest of the Carnival Cruise Lines ships to enter the fleet; expecting to enter service in June 2012. Her sister ship, the Carnival Dream entered service on September 21, 2009 and the Carnival Magic on May 1, 2011. She will sail out of Barcelona and Venice to the Mediterranean and out of Miami to the Caribbean and Bahamas.
Concept and ConstructionCarnival Breeze is the third Dream-class ship, with sisters, Carnival Dream and Carnival Magic. Carnival Breeze will be built at Fincantieri Monfalcone in Italy. This class is currently the largest to be ever built in Fincantieri. The ship's features have not yet been revealed, to be unveiled in the upcoming months. Carnival Breeze is expected to have the same design as her sisters. Signature Dream-class elements, such as the half-mile exterior promenade with cantilevered whirlpools, and a 23,750 sq ft (2,206 m2) wellness facility will be included. The new features will be revealed soon.
Other features included are the WaterWorks aqua park with a 300-foot (91 m)-long corkscrew water slide, an indoor/outdoor café with live entertainment venue called Ocean Plaza and a wide range of staterooms including deluxe ocean views with two bathrooms, some of which feature five berths and hold particular appeal for families
