The Club Med 2 is a five-masted schooner with staysails.  Her construction began in 1989 at the Le Havre shipyards.  She was launched in 1992.  

She is the sister ship to the former Club Med 1 (1988), which became the Wind Surf in 1998.

The Club Med 2 is the largest 5-masted yacht currently sailing.

History
This cruising sailing yacht sails around the Mediterranean and the Adriatic in summer, and the Caribbean in winter.  Cruises are managed by the Club Méditerranée group. She has 8 decks and 170 cabins, which can accommodate up to 372 passengers.She has a sail area of 2,500 m² with 7 sails.
