IT’S NOT TOO LATE TO RACE OVER TO THE MONACO GRAND PRIX

Four-day Race Packages, with Prime Viewing Seats, Available for One of the Most Glamorous Events in Sports

NEW YORK - April, 17, 2002 - Grand Prix formula 1 racing is the champagne of motor sports, on a par with the Kentucky Derby and Ascot for attracting jet setters, the rich and famous, sports celebrities and Hollywood stars. The circuit includes many of the world’s most cosmopolitan cities, transformed for four days into spectacular race tracks as the fastest automobiles on earth roar through their streets.

Of all the Grand Prix venues, none is more glamorous or exciting than Monte-Carlo, which has made the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix one of the most popular sports events ever since its inception in 1929. In addition to the thundering race -- a course of hairpin turns and steep hills -- the entire Principality itself becomes a non-stop celebration, with luxury hotels, the famous Opera House and Casino and some of the highest-rated restaurants in Europe providing spectacular settings overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. There’s still time to join the festivities for this year’s Monaco Grand Prix, scheduled for May 23-26, but interested travelers should not waste any time as prime viewing seats are going as fast as the competing cars. As the organizers of the race each year, the Automobile Club of Monaco is still the best way to get tickets for seats on the circuit.

There are still seats available for sale on the circuit. To order tickets or to receive information regarding ticket ordering, please contact the Automobile Club of Monaco directly at www.acm.mc. Another great way to experience the race while also getting the most out of your stay in Monaco, is by purchasing a Grand Prix package, including viewing tickets, accommodations and more.
