MONACO'S DIGITAL DREAMS

MGTO Releases New CD-Rom Specifically for Incentive Planners

NEW YORK- July 16, 2002-  The Principality of Monaco, the destination where “business meets pleasure,” has for years been known as one of Europe’s premier incentive destinations.  In Monaco, participants indulge in fantasies of high-speed racing, princely romance, James Bond action, and Grace Kelly style.  For incentive planners considering Monaco programs, the Monaco Government Tourist Office (MGTO) now offers a new and essential tool - a full length interactive CD-ROM that provides extensive information about the Principality and her luxurious properties.

The new Monaco Business Meets Pleasure CD-ROM presents a wealth of information on everything from Monaco’s history and culture to weather and sightseeing.  Detailed information on hotels, meeting venues and capacities is also featured, along with special package pricing through 2004.  The Incentives section highlights activities in and around Monaco, as well as a “success-proven” sample itinerary.

A list of Top 10 Selling Points educates planners on how to sell Monaco to their clients. As enticing as it is informative, the CD-ROM features a magnificent multi-media presentation of the Principality and a video of the MGTO’s TV spot.  Following the 2002 release of Monaco’s Reward Yourself Digicard- a mini-CD-ROM designed to entice and motivate prospective incentive participants- the Business Meets Pleasure CD is the next step in the MGTO’s efforts to facilitate the job for the incentive planner.

”We are always looking for new ways to inform and assist prospective planners. We’re hoping that this new CD-ROM will serve as a useful aid,” says Cindy Hoddeson, Director of Convention and Incentive Sales for the MGTO. “The MGTO is always available to assist, but this kind of interactive tool is invaluable to our clients.”

For more information or to get your own copy of the new Monaco CD-ROM, call the Monaco Government Tourist Office at (800) 753-9696, email MGTO@Monaco1.org or visit www.monaco-tourism.com.
