MONACO'S PRESENCE AT IT TO HIGHLIGHT NEW DEVELOPMENTS IN THE PRINCIPALITY

New Promotional Materials and Representatives Make Monaco Booth A Must

Monaco has lots to celebrate. With the 2001 opening of such facilities as the Grimaldi Forum Monaco and the Columbus Hotel, as well as the new TGV Med line, this perennially popular destination is making even more strides towards accommodating and pampering its meeting and incentive guests.

For this year's Incentive, Travel & Meeting Executive Show (IT), new and old representatives from Monaco's hotels, conference facilities and DMCs will be on hand to showcase all the new developments in the Principality. The MGTO will also unveil a new guide with updated US-dollar guaranteed incentive programs through 2003 and their new 'Digicard'- a business-card sized CD rom specifically geared towards incentives for promotional and motivational use.

Among those joining the MGTO team along with the Grimaldi Forum Monaco are representatives from the following DMCs and hotels:

Hotels
· Le Metropole Palace - continues its ambitious renovation program, which includes the sleeping rooms, hotel lobby, Le Jardin restaurant and the conference rooms.
· Le Meridien Beach Plaza - recently added 6 new rooms, now totaling 338.
· Monte Carlo Grand Hotel - recently completed refurbishment of its main ballroom and the Jockey Club restaurant. The rooftop restaurant Le Pistou is now open year-round.
· Societe des Bains de Mer - announces their new US Director of Sales, Ms. Pilar Maria Abaya. The new meeting and incentive website www.montecarlomeeting.com is up and running and plans are underway for a new SBM hotel to open in 2004.
· Columbus Monaco - Monaco's new hotel -opened in April 2001- offers small meeting capabilities in a comfortable 'feels like home' setting.
