Our entire experience in Monaco, including our stay at Columbus Monaco, exceeding our expectations in every way.  Everyone we encountered in Monaco was friendly, helpful, and happy to see us. As Americans vacationing in France we had mild concerns about the hospitality we would receive, and nothing could be further from reality. Everyone spoke at least some English and the friendliness of the area was striking. The food, the views, the romance, the museums, the shops, the hotel all combined for a fabulous time.
