“La Code et la Vie” exhibition at Galerie L’Entrepôt in Monaco

Artist Gerald Foltête is exhibiting his work from 21 July to 22 August 2014

Gerald Foltête is a French artist who lives and works in Grasse.

His exhibition “La Code et la Vie” (“Code and Life”) presents work produced over the last two years.

The artist has brought together works which have a link with women, photography and literature, themes which are dear to him.

He will present “Mémoire de l’art” (“Memory of Art”), a series of six paintings on memory, art and photographic representation. The paintings depict the transcription in raw image format (the codes) of six works which he considers to be key in the history of art.
