Monte-Carlo SBM & the Environment

Today, more than ever before, it is essential to combine efficiency, productivity and respect for the environment.

Monte-Carlo SBM has therefore undertaken a program of environmental protection in its various fields of activities, with strong awareness on the part of the staff, the group’s clients and suppliers.

The SBM is innovating with regard to new technologies and, in the interest of its clients, has committed itself to be an experimentation point for the whole country. Because of our important role as manager of the Principality’s heritage, we are investing in the renovation of our establishments while meeting HEQ standards.

We are thus developing an environmental policy, reassessed each year, that promotes, among other things, local products, significant collection of waste and the use of tools enabling ecological energy management of our buildings. The Imprim’vert label is one of many testimonials demonstrating this commitment.

Since 2007, Monte-Carlo SBM has resolutely adapted its activity to coincide with the environmental development policy adopted by the Principality of Monaco and undertaken at the initiative of HSH Prince Albert II.

Our aim is to see that the Group’s development is guided by a constant desire to respect and preserve natural resources.

Convinced that any trust invested in a company cannot solely be linked to its profitability, but must also take into account its commitment to goals of public interest favoring sustainable development, Monte-Carlo SBM has set up an action plan aimed at meeting international objectives concerning the environment, and encouraging good practices on the part of both its business partners and its personnel.
