The Monaco USA Association will celebrate the 72nd Anniversary of the Liberation of Monaco, which took place during World War II.

On Saturday 3 September, there will be a special 1940s-themed dinner and show.  The artists appearing on stage include the Lib Day Darlings (Alicia Sedgwick, Colette Marx-Nielsen and Louise Harrison), two artists from London's West End, Paul Spicer and Matt Firth, and local singers Carl Henry and Mike Lorimer, who will recreate the atmosphere of the 1940s with jazz songs originally performed by the Andrews Sisters, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and Billie Holiday.  This evening event will feature a wide variety of entertainment, including a free tombola, a dance contest and a prize for "the best 1940s look."

The event will begin at 6 p.m. at the Star Deck of the STARS'N'BARS.  Admission is 15€, to include the 2-hour show and a glass of wine or beer or a soft drink.
