    Creative Week at the "U mazaghin" Workshop

    The Terres Méditerranéennes association is offering a creative week from Monday 15 to Friday 19 February, from 2.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m., at the "U mazaghìn" workshop, for children of 5 years of age and above.  The program features:
    - Monday, "Make and Decorate a Perfumed Sachet";
    - Tuesday, "Make a Mandala from Plant Materials and a Graphic Mandala";
    - Wednesday, "Cut Out and Arrange a Landscape Inspired by Matisse";
    - Thursday, "Make and Decorate a Garden in a Box";
    - Friday, "Invent Your Own Door to Happiness."

    How to Enroll:
    Bookings by e-mail or on 06 22 80 01 66, stating the names and ages of the children.
    Afternoon:  25€ / 20€ for members. 
    Week:  100€ / 80€ for members.
    Membership of the association:  25€ per child / 40€ for 2 children.

    Salsa Evening at La Rascasse

    Every Thursday, at La Rascasse, come and learn the "hottest" dance – the salsa.

    Would you like to deepen your acquaintance with the Caribbean, Africa or Latin America in an amazing way and be carried away by their captivating rhythms?

    Learn to dance to Cuban rhythms with Hamidine, the ladies' favorite teacher, at an evening that's totally "caliente."  From beginners to more advanced, there's something for everyone:

    – Beginners:  7 p.m.
    – Intermediate:  8 p.m.
    – Advanced:  9 p.m.

    Salsa Evening:  10 p.m.

    A Mojito bar, themed decor, flowery necklaces, hats, sunglasses and salsa films projected onto screens – you'll find all the ingredients for an excellent evening.

    Second "MAGIC" Event

    The Monaco Anime Game International Conference (MAGIC) event is organised by the Société Shibuya Productions.  It is open to all and will take place at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco on Saturday 27 February 2016.
    This is a day event devoted to several different areas of interest – Manga, Comics, Animation, Video Games and Pop Culture.

    MAGIC offers several lecture cycles and round tables with renowned international games designers, producers, screenwriters and illustrators, with full interaction with the public. 

    MAGIC is also an opportunity to watch a special fashion parade and cosplay competition organized in association with BulleJapon and in the presence of the leading performers from the sector.

    Finally, MAGIC also initiated a major video games creation competition, which is unique in the world.  The winner will receive an investment of 100,000 euros to develop his or her project.

    The Monte-Carlo Spring Arts Festival ("Printemps des Arts"): Week 4

    Wednesday 6 April, at 8.30 p.m., Oceanographic Museum:  Music from the Time of the Sun King / Andreas Staier, pianist, pianoforte player and harpsichordist

    Thursday 7 April, at 8.30 p.m., Rainier III Auditorium: Mahler's Symphony No. 3 (in D Minor) / Dutilleux ("Correspondances" for soprano and orchestra).  The concert will be preceded by an Encounter at 7 p.m.

    Friday 8 April at 8.30 p.m., Rainier III Auditorium: Mahler's Symphony No. 5 (in C Sharp Minor): When organizing all these symphonies, Symphonies 5, 6 and 7 are sometimes organized into a purely instrumental musical trilogy.  The concert will be preceded by an Encounter at 7 p.m.

    Saturday 9 April at 6 p.m., National Council: Traditional music from Lower Brittany.  There will be a "Round Table" at 3 p.m. prior to the concert.  Admission free. 

    8.30 p.m., Rainier III Auditorium:  Mahler's Symphony No. 7.  
    Sunday 10 April at 6 p.m., Rainier III Auditorium:  Mahler's Symphony No. 1 (in D Major) and Adagio from Symphony 10 in F sharp major ("Titan").


    Courtiers, you are invited for an evening of surprises and refinement.  Wear your most beautiful outfits to this unique evening event!  Dress code (for men and women):  Baroque-style costume.

    Monday 28 March at 6 p.m. Opéra Garnier:  String Quartet No. 1 in D Minor, Op. 7. 

    Wednesday 30 March at 4 p.m. Conservatory of Nice:  Rainier III Academy of Music from Monaco and the National and Regional Conservatory of the City of Nice.

    Thursday 31 March at 8 p.m. Monaco Cathedral:  Every year, the Monte-Carlo Spring Arts Festival ("Printemps des Arts") devotes an evening to Baroque music in Monaco Cathedral.

    Friday 1 April at 8.30 p.m. Rainier III Auditorium:  JOLAS – True Stories, suite concertante for piano, trumpet and orchestra.  MAHLER - Symphony No.4 in G Major.  
    The concert will be preceded by an Encounter at 7 p.m. 

    Saturday 2 April at 8 p.m. Rainier III Auditorium:  Two great pianists in one evening.   From Bach's Goldberg variations to Beethoven's Diabelli Variations, the two composers performing at this evening concert have chosen to add some variations to more formal works.
    The concert will be preceded by a "round table" at 3 pm and an Encounter at 6.30 p.m.

    Sunday 3 April at 1 p.m.:  Bus departing from Monaco (Louis II Stadium) and from Nice (Verdure Theatre).  TheMYSTERY TRIP is back!  The idea is simple – the members of the audience let themselves be guided to a secret venue outside Monaco to listen to concerts that are kept secret until the last minute …

    The Monte-Carlo Spring Arts Festival ("Printemps des Arts"): Week 1

    From 19 March to 10 April 2016, the Monte-Carlo Spring Arts Festival  ("Printemps des Arts") will be back in Monaco.

    Saturday 19 March:  Inauguration of the Gustav Mahler exhibition.  Come and discover the exhibition "Gustav Mahler – My Time Will Come ..." ("Gustav Mahler - Mon temps viendra...") throughout the festival - a monographic exhibition retracing the life and work of Gustav Mahler, from his childhood to his posthumous works, through a selection of original pieces and facsimiles (photographic portraits, handwritten letters, musical autographs, concert posters and objects) from the Henry-Louis de La Grange collection.

    Opening times:  from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and concert evenings at the Auditorium (closed on Mondays)
