A Galaxy of Stars on Monaco's Port Hercule

The 2nd round of the 2015 Monaco International Musical Fireworks Competition will take place on 18 July

The 2015 Monaco International Musical Fireworks Competition began on 3 July with a display by Switzerland (the SUGYP SA company).  It continues this Saturday, 18 July 2015, with a second display, this time by Belgium, with the HC PYROTECHNICS company.  For the occasion, Monaco City Hall is offering a sound and light evening with a programme of concerts and a musical fireworks show.

From 8.30 p.m., there will be a free public pre-fireworks concert featuring cellist Adrien Frasse-Sombet from the Var region of France and singer Dominique Magloire, which promises to be a memorable musical experience.  There will then be an opportunity to admire the fireworks from one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the Principality!

At 10 p.m. it will be time for the musical fireworks show "Mystify," which will set the Monegasque sky alight.  The best places to watch the display are Monaco's Exotic Garden, the Port of Monaco or the Avenue d'Ostende.

Finally, at the end of the fireworks, at around 10.30 p.m., the young singer-songwriter Olivia Dorato will await audiences on the Port of Monaco for a free pop rock-style concert.

As a reminder, the public can watch a video of each fireworks display and award it points on the web site www.monaco-feuxdartifice.mc.  At the end of the Competition, as a side-event of the Jury's Prize, the Public's Prize will be awarded to the fireworks display that has received the highest score from Internet users.  So now it's your turn to vote!
