The Princess Grace Theatre is playing host to the renowned Kimono designer Nobuaki Tomita on 15 March at 6 pm
Nobuaki Tomita is a Kimono designer from Kyoto. He is very popular all over Japan, and also in the United States.
His creations are often used by Japanese television for TV films and advertisements, and by the Japanese film industry. In addition, his work features in numerous fashion magazines.
Nobuaki Tomita is also an expert in the history of the Kimono. Some of his work for the Kabuki Theatre in Japan will be shown in Monaco.
He will portray the history of the Kimono, which dates back four centuries and is very dear to the Japanese, in an original way.
During his show, Nobuaki Tomita will dress girls in Kimonos live on stage. Interestingly, some of his creations are based on dyes made from drinks such as tea, Sake, Champagne and wine.
