Latest Tool Gives the Travel Agent Community an Insider’s Advantage

The Principality of Monaco, one of the world’s most celebrated luxury destinations, continues to delight visitors with its unique charm, culture, cuisine and legendary hospitality. In recognition of the importance of travel agents in helping to attract visitors to this story-book land, the Monaco Government Tourist Office in New York will launch its second season of very successful webinars in late January.

The popular educational sessions provide up-to-the-minute presentations by Monaco’s top hoteliers which give agents an insider’s glimpse at the destination’s luxurious hotels and resorts. The second series kicks off on January 31 at 12:00pm EST with a presentation from the Monte-Carlo SBM group (with properties such as the Hotel de Paris, Hotel Hermitage, Monte-Carlo Beach Hotel and the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel and Resort as well as the famous Casino de Monte-Carlo).

The webinar calendar continues monthly with all broadcasts starting at 12:00pm EST:

29 February 2012 - Hotel Métropole Monte-Carlo
28 March 2012 - Le Méridien Beach Plaza
25 April 2012 - Columbus Monte-Carlo
30 May 2012 - Fairmont Monte Carlo
20 June 2012 – Port Palace Hotel

“We are committed to serving the travel agent community and these webinars are a great tool to update agents with news and events, providing immediate interaction by using the very latest technology. This direct contact with agents, including Q and A sessions, helps build and maintain stronger relationships and allows us to better understand and address the needs of our valued partners in travel,” said Maguy Maccario, Director, Monaco Government Tourist Office, North America.

This webinar series complements several new initiatives in the Tourist Office’s toolbox of dedicated planning tools designed specifically for US partners; chief among them iswww.MonacoForAgents.com. A comprehensive site, launched in late 2011, has a clean, fresh design providing agents with easy access to current Monaco content including travel specials, events, sample itineraries, brochures, images, videos and general information. The site also highlights the webinars, and RSS feeds deliver Monaco’s news straight to agents’ smart phones, without having to visit the site directly. MGTO also issues a monthly e-newsletter, available upon request, for travel agents to receive timely news, information and offers.
