The Jewel in the Crown of Monegasque Gastronomy, the Louis XV – Alain Ducasse, Celebrates its 25th Anniversary

An anniversary menu has been specially created to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Louis XV, the famous three-star restaurant run by the equally famous chef, Alain Ducasse.

The menu is a perfect illustration of Alain Ducasse's cuisine:  sincere, precise, respectful and delicious.  From season to season, the cuisine at the Louis XV pays tribute to the abundant, generous nature of the Riviera.  It gives each ingredient a starring role, in search of original flavors.  A taste of the essential!

The special 25th anniversary menu has been available since 22 March.  Mini Pan Bagna and thin sheets of pasta with vegetables as a starter:  San Remo Gamberoni, a delicate jelly of rock fish and caviar to follow;  a cook pot of spelt from Haute-Provence, morels and young seasonal vegetables;  red mullet and "Trompette" zucchini, condiment with local flavors;  roast suckling lamb cooked on an open fire, peas, new season's onions, green garlic, casseroled baby new potatoes with a pearly jus;  selection of goat cheeses from the local countryside;  bittersweet citrus fruits, grapefruit/Campari sorbet;  hot soufflé with Piedmont hazelnuts, mignardises and Alain Ducasse chocolates.
An exceptional gastronomic journey in a magnificent setting.  This anniversary is, of course, an ideal opportunity to celebrate the most important moments in life.

The anniversary menu is available until December at the price of 280 Euros (as an option, a selection of exceptional wines to complement this exceptional food is available at 145 Euros – including Dom Pérignon, Puligny Montrachet and Château Léoville-Las Cases.)
