The Muse Reopens in Monaco

The Méridien Beach Plaza is celebrating the reopening of its summer restaurant, open from noon till dawn



The Méridien Beach Plaza's Muse Restaurant is now open for the season, until the end of September.

The Muse is the ideal place to satisfy your desire for gourmet food or enjoy a quick snack - whether at lunchtime, for the dish of the day, or all night long until dawn.

The restaurant is nestled among pine trees and shaded from the hot sun.  When night falls, it's lit by lanterns.

The Muse was designed by Tristan Auer in 2009.  It offers a new look at design and gastronomy and has rapidly become a favorite with local clients.  The different areas are decorated in eclectic style, with some unusual items.

Chef Jimmy Desrivières' cuisine is a major attraction for gourmets!  Of Caribbean origin, he trained in the UK and the United Arab Emirates, and adds his own special touch of creativity to classic recipes.

At lunchtime, you can enjoy various dishes "a la plancha," such as giant prawns marinated in lime, jumbo shrimp in their shells with garlic butter, flat-leaf parsley and shellfish jus, or the kebab-style supreme of marinated organic chicken served with a yoghurt and mint sauce …

… or be tempted by a selection of spit-roast meat, such as the lacquered pork shoulder, whole young Landais chicken marinated with oriental spices or knuckle of lamb with a raz el hanout jus.  Desserts include homemade fruit tarts and a selection of macaroons.

From 4 pm until late, there's a 24-hour menu to suit all appetites.  Why not try the platter of spring rolls and samosas with coriander, fried squid, or the traditional beefburger in a sesame bun?

Finally, the Muse offers a 100% organic wine list.  All the wines and Champagnes are carefully selected by Head Sommelier Dominique Milardi, and are from local vineyards – an initiative that demonstrates the hotel's commitment to sustainable development.  The wine list is comprehensive and includes the very finest wines.

The Muse can also be privately hired for events, and has a capacity of 200 people.
