The Return of the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra

The Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra's new season will open with Verdi's Requiem on Sunday 16 September at 6 pm, at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco



To mark the start of the autumn season, 100 musicians, a chorus of 100, four renowned soloists and a first-conductor will perform with the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra in what promises to be an unforgettable Verdi's Requiem!

This special concert will be conducted by the Italian maestro Gianluigi Gelmetti, who was recently appointed advisory conductor of this Monegasque orchestra.

More than 200 performers will be taking part in this work.

Opening concert as a prelude to the Verdi Bicentenary with the support of the Association of Friends of the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra 

As a preview to the concert, André Peyrègne, Director of the Regional Conservatoire of Nice, will give a presentation of the work at 5 pm
