Yachting and Lifestyle Come Together in Monaco

Monaco Classic Week 2013 will take place from 11 to 15 September 2013

Held by the Yacht Club de Monaco since 1994, the Monaco Classic Week is the only event to bring together in the same port classic sailing yachts, period motor-yachts and old motorboats, with all these wonderful boats setting sail together.

From 11 to 15 September 2013, every member of the yachting elite, whether classic, sailing or motor-powered, will meet at the Port Hercule to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Yacht Club de Monaco.

A festival dedicated to classic yachting will spread throughout the whole of the Quai Antoine I, with an exhibition of Titouan Lamazou at the Galerie Marlborough from 10 to 28 September, while the Monte-Carlo Auction House will hold an auction of classic boats, paintings and maritime objects.

"La Belle Classe" and 2013 Monaco Classic Week

Monaco Classic Week is a week-long festival held at sea and on shore. It is taking place along the whole of the Quai Antoine 1er until 15 September

A series of events is being organised for Monaco Classic Week by the Yacht Club of Monaco.

The Marlborough Gallery is exhibiting works by Titouan Lamazou until 28 September.

This year, the guest of honour at this biennial festival is Le Belem.  This three-masted trading ship, launched in June 1896, was listed as a historic monument in 1984.  The Belem is a jewel of French maritime heritage.  It is now a training ship and is a familiar sight at all the gatherings of historic ships and various types of armadas, including prestigious events.
