The Principality is a territory of 2,8 km². In order to show your respect to environment, we propose not to use your vehicle while you are staying in Monaco. At your arrival, you can park your vehicle in one of our numerous car parks and favour public transport, walking or cabs.

  • Walking

Walking is the best way to discover Monaco. Numerous lifts and escalators make it possible to join another district of Monaco in a couple of minutes. It takes only 45 minutes to cross Monaco from the East to the West.

  • The little train

Monaco Tours : Get on board of the little train, red and white, and discover the Principality by listening to the explanations given in twelve languages, with simultaneous translation. « Monaco Tours » takes you to the « Place d’Armes », to the « Port Hercule », on the tracks of the famous Formula One, to Monte-Carlo with its Casino and its luxury hotels, to the Old Town with the Palace and the cathedral.

  • Departure and arrival opposite of the Oceanographic Museum.
  • Duration: 30/40 minutes
  • Panoramic tops
  • Runs every day (in regards to weather condition) from 10 am to 5 pm,
  • Price : adults : 8 €, children from 2 to 8 years old : 4 €

  • « Monaco Le Grand Tour »

Discover the Principality of Monaco in a convertible bus called the « Monaco Grand Tour » and enjoy the magnificent panoramic views. The running commentary is provided in your own language through individual disposable head sets. Using your « pass », valid for either 1 or 2 days, you will be free to hop on and off the bus at any of the 12 bus stops. These busses are equipped with a « Euro 5 » motor and working with diester gasoline, in order to reduce their impact on the environment.

  • Runs every day (besides special occasions) : from April 1st to October 31st from 10am to 5:45 pm, from November 1st to March 31st from 10am to 5:30 pm.
  • First departure of the day at 10am at the Quai Kennedy, stops also the electrical boat.
  • Duration : about 1h
  • Frequency : every 15 mn from April to October and 30 mn from November to March.

Rates : « Pass » adult one day 18€ / two days 21€ ; seniors and students (discounted price) one day 16€ ; children from 4 to 11 years old(accompanied by an adult) « Pass » one or two days 7€.

Parking lot

We advise you to leave your car in one of the numerous parking lots in the Principality. They are all underground, watched, and secured and offer the best solution to park your vehicle. The rates are indicated at all the entrances of the parking lots :

  • First hour free of charge
  • from 60 to 80 minutes : 2,40€
  • from 80 to 260 minutes for every 20 minutes : 1,00€
  • from 260 to 300 minutes for every 20 minutes : 0,70€
  • from 300 to 600 minutes for every 20 minutes : 0,20€
  • from 600 to 660 minutes for every 20 minutes : 0,10€
  • from 7pm to 8am for every 20 minutes : 0,10€
  • Daily package « Lost Ticket » : 20,00€
