Monaco's brewery (the Brasserie de Monaco), on Port Hercule, has been brewing and serving Monaco Beer since 1 August 2008
Since it was first established, 560,000 litres of Lager, White, Amber and "Special" Beer have been produced on site using traditional methods, i.e. 2.2 million beers served!
The Brasserie de Monaco is celebrating its anniversary from 1 to 4 August 2013, and is offering:
A tour of the brewery with free tastings of Monaco beer on these four days at 12 noon, 3 pm and 5 pm;
Live bands from 8 pm to 11 pm (Thursday: Emily Johnson, Friday: Rhodes, Saturday: Ambaradan Party Band, Sunday: Jérôme Zarco);
A live DJ from 11 pm until closing time (DJ Pete Kassidy and DJ Emmanuel Sultana (BCult)
On Thursday 1 August, gifts will be given out and Radio Monaco's programme "Malher éteint la TV" ("Malher Switches Off the TV") will be broadcast live from the Brasserie from 5 pm to 8 pm. There'll also be a grand surprise show and a huge birthday cake to share with all the customers.
