Monaco Tourist and Convention Authority's Roadshow in China

The DTC is continuing its international promotional activities

Monaco Tourist and Convention Authority (DTC) has just finished its Chinese tour.  It began in Beijing on 15 October 2013 and ended on 22 October in Shanghai.

Accompanied by the Fairmont, the SBM and the Métropole, the DTC and its Chinese team met with tourism professionals at meetings organised directly with Chinese agencies and the media with the aim of raising awareness of the Principality of Monaco's many assets.

Presentations were also organised in the two cities to enable professionals to meet the Tourist Authority and its Monegasque partners, as were one-to-one meetings at cocktail parties.

Draws were held, giving guests the chance to win hotel stays and dinners in the prestigious establishments from the Principality that were present.

The Monegasque delegation played an active part in the 15th "Hurun Report Best Awards Dinner 2013" in Beijing on 19 October.  Guests at the reception included the 15 wealthiest and most influential people in China and the 300 most respected entrepreneurs in the market.

The Principality of Monaco provided many prizes for this evening event, to help raise the profile of Monaco as a destination.

In Shanghai, the DTC also took advantage of the presence and reputation of the Ballets de Monte-Carlo and invited influential figures to a performance of "Lac," based on "Swan Lake."
