Eine Ausstellung vom 9. Februar bis 13. September 2013 im Museum für vorgeschichtliche Anthropologie Monaco
Die neue Ausstellung des Anthropologischen Museums Monaco zeigt die Ursprünge des Feuers sowie die Werkzeuge, mit denen es in vorgeschichtlicher Zeit und durch die Jahrtausende bis zum heutigen Tag erzeugt und gebändigt wurde und wird, sowie seine kulturelle und gesellschaftliche Rolle für den Zusammenhalt einer Gruppe von Menschen. .
Erzählt wird diese Geschichte anhand von Anschauungstafeln und rekonstruierten Objekten, unterstützt von einem Dokumentarfilm.

"The Conquest of Fire" at Monaco's Museum of Prehistoric Anthropology

How can we make fire without a lighter? Mastery of this technique began more than 400,000 years ago.
This exhibition retraces the history and various techniques by means of explanatory information boards, objects and videos.
Guided tours and demonstrations of fire-lighting techniques, and simulations of archaeological excavations, prehistoric paintings and decorative items will be organised.
