Exhibition – Tomorrow the Ocean?
The project is part of the "Shared Sea – Year of the Sea" initiative led by the French Ministry of Ecological Transition, and designed to coincide with the Blue Economy and Finance Forum and the Third United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC 3) to be held in Monaco and Nice in June 2025.
The geography and topography of the Principality, which sits on the north coast of the Mediterranean, the commitment of Prince Albert I of Monaco to the exploration, study and protection of the oceans, as well as Prince Albert II of Monaco’s own commitment through his Foundation, make the Principality of Monaco the perfect setting to host an exhibition like this.
The displays set out for visitors provide an opportunity to embrace the complexity of our contemporary relationship with the marine world, through more than 60 works produced by 28 artists from all five continents.
