Monaco and Capri - An Unprecedented Meeting of Two Pearls of the Mediterranean

The Vista Palace Beach in Roquebrune Cap Martin is organising an exhibition of photographs from 5 to 15 July
Perched high on a rock, the Vista Palace Hotel offers a panoramic view, one of the best views in the French Riviera.

Its strategic position at the crossroads of three countries – Italy, Monaco and France – makes it the perfect place to hold a very special event on the theme of "Monaco and Capri:  The Two Pearls of the Mediterranean."

It was Bruno Arosio, the owner of the Vista Palace Hotel, who came up with the idea of the island of Capri, an oasis of beauty on the Neapolitan Coast, coming to give a nod to its twin, the Principality of Monaco.

Beautiful Capri will be represented by its Mayor, Ciro Lembo, and will combine its culture, gastronomy, music and dance with that of Monaco.

An exhibition of unique photos will be on show from 5 to 10 July at the Hotel, and from 11 to 15 July 2012 at the private beach, on the theme of "Stars of the Olden Days in Capri."  This exhibition has already been shown in Milan on the "Via Monte Napoleon," with a spotlight on the majestic Grace Kelly and Monaco's Princely Family …

On the programme – ten days of events shared between the Hotel and its beach, the Vista Palace Beach.

A charity gala will open the festivities on Thursday 5 July at the Vista Palace Hotel, with traditional music and dance from Capri and fashion shows of made-to-measure collections.  A collection in aid of victims of the earthquake in Emilia Romagna will be organised during the evening under the patronage of the Italian Embassy in Monaco, COMITES and the AIIM.

And for the grand finale, a buffet cocktail party will bring the event to a close on Sunday 15 July 2012, at the Vista Palace Beach.
