Adopt a Fish at the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco

This initiative by the Association of Friends of the Oceanographic Museum is an opportunity to have a special link with a living creature while taking practical steps to protect the marine world …

Sponsors can now adopt a fish, turtle or shark and make a direct contribution to its daily care, and more widely to the Oceanographic Institute's activities to raise awareness of the oceans and encourage people to love and protect them.

Seventeen species found in the Oceanographic Museum's aquariums can now be adopted, from the Apogon of the Banggai Islands to the Hawksbill turtle, the grey reef shark and the giant guitarfish.

All you have to do is choose a "resident;" fill in an adoption request form and return it to the Museum with your payment, or adopt directly on line by scanning the QR code displayed in the aquariums or by visiting ("Adopt a Fish" heading).

An official adoption certificate with a photo of your adoptee, as well as free admission to visit him or her at the Museum, will then be sent to you by post.
