The Principality of Monaco is paying tribute to China and offering a chance to discover this great country through many different events, from 13 to 20 February 2014.
A village of Chinese Crafts will be set up on the Quai Albert Ier, where you can discover a wide variety of products, such as lanterns, parasols, kites, paper items and traditional calligraphy.
The Galerie du Quai Antoine Ier will host the exhibition "China Today," with a hundred or so photos retracing 30 years of China's history
The Café de Paris is also paying tribute to China. Four leading chefs will be present and different specialities will be offered at lunchtime and for dinner, in association with the Head Chef at the Café de Paris.
Numerous shows featuring songs, dance, martial arts and folklore are also planned, as well as exhibitions of lanterns (in the hall of the Café de Paris and the Casino and in the shopping mall at the Métropole Shopping Centre).
Finally, Mr. Bellassen, Inspector General at the French Ministry of Education, will give a lecture on "The Art and System of Chinese Cookery" at the Auditorium of the Lycée Technique.
