The first Monegasque stamp in augmented reality

Publication date: 15/10/2018
The “Office des Timbres” of the Principality of Monaco will put the following stamp "MONEGASQUE SONGS BY THE CHILDREN OF THE CHOIR OF THE ACADÉMIE RAINIER III"

The first Monegasque stamp in augmented reality! Snap the stamp with a smartphone, and you will hear an extract from a CD of Monegasque songs produced at the initiative of Monaco City Hall. The songs are performed by the children of the choir of the Académie Rainier III accompanied by the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra. A true cultural, artistic and educational project, the CD showcases the richness and diversity of Monaco’s linguistic and musical heritage and encourages young people to make it their own.

This issue will be on sale at the “Office des Timbres”, the “Musée des Timbres et des Monnaies”, the post offices and philatelic counters of the Principality, the Monaco stamp-dealers as well as the “Musée de la Poste” and the “Carré d’Encre” in Paris, France. It will be included, with other values, in the 2nd Part of the philatelic programme 2018 and offered to our subscribers and customers.
