BMC Stream - Bringing Ballet To Your Home

Publication date: 29/01/2021
Immerse yourself in the world of Les Ballets de Monte Carlo with a brand new interactive visual experience.

Following the cancellation of the performances of "Lac" owing to the Covid pandemic, Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo are launching their online streaming platform, called BmC Stream, a treat for all classical dance lovers. With cultural venues across France remaining closed and the Monegasque authorities tightening up health restrictions, the platform arrives at the perfect time.

The principle behind it is simple. The site is a veritable treasure trove of high-quality video content featuring the Monegasque ballet company, offering users an interactive and immersive experience. Including interviews with dancers and choreographers, performances, documentaries, and behind the scenes footage of the dancers and the company, work in the studio (classes and rehearsals), series, interactive content, and more, there is so much to see. This exclusive content is updated every month.

The use of multiple interactive cameras makes this platform a world exclusive. Close-ups, profile shots, behind-the-scenes cameras: everything is captured from four different angles. It is up to you, the viewer, to choose your preferred angle in real time. Switch from the front of house to backstage in just a click, for an immersive experience like no other!

We want to create a space where the audience can interact with our videos, choose the way they watch with our new feature, a world first, the multi-camera system. See the life of the company, look behind the curtain, in the studio, and much more besides, as we progress in the production of content and the production.
