Hotel swimming pools in Monaco: luxury and relaxation

Odyssey area

Karl Lagerfeld designed the Odyssey area at the Métropole Monte-Carlo hotel. Its seawater pool, covered in low season, is uncovered in summer for an open-air interlude. In winter, a glass fresco depicting the voyage of Ulysses decorates the heated pool, while in summer, you can bask in the sunshine in the landscaped gardens and lounge bar along the water's edge. Coaches offer tailor-made aquagym lessons for those in a sporty mood! The Zia at Odyssey restaurant and swimming pool are open to hotel guests during the day. In the evening, the bar is open to all visitors.

Amù By The Pool and Nikki Beach Monte-Carlo

The Fairmont Monte Carlo hotel has two luxury pools: theAmù By The Pool and the Nikki Beach Monte-Carlo are both located on the hotel's rooftops. In the Amù by The Pool, you can swim in a family atmosphere while admiring the sea, before relaxing on a deckchair and enjoying the excellent refreshment and restaurant services. In the other, Nikki Beach, you can take a dip before settling into one of the luxurious beds. Champagne, cocktails and gourmet lunches are served in a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere. Both rooftops are accessible without being a hotel guest.

Amù By The Pool opening times: 10am to 7pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 8pm Friday to Sunday.

Nikki Beach Monte-Carlo opening times: daily from 8am to 8pm

Monte-Carlo Beach

The Monte-Carlo Beach hotel, a jewel of the 1930s, boasts a heated outdoor Olympic seawater pool facing the Mediterranean. It offers breathtaking views over Monaco. Its Art Deco terracotta diving board and blue glass-paste tiled pool create an elegant and timeless atmosphere. Surrounded by chic deckchairs and cabanas, the pool invites you to relax in a refined setting.

Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort

The Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort offers a private indoor swimming pool with jacuzzis, as well as a sandy lagoon accessible from mid-May to the end of September. Unique in the Principality, this aquatic complex offers a rare interlude in a lush garden set on a peaceful peninsula. The indoor pool, topped by a magnificent dome and surrounded by tropical vegetation, includes several jacuzzis, inviting you to relax and take an invigorating dip. It then opens onto an outdoor infinity pool, which can be reached by swimming under an elegant wrought-iron footbridge at the entrance to the dome. The pool and lagoon can be booked by telephone, even if you are not a hotel guest. You can eat or drink at the Hippocampe, the lagoon bar.

Le Méridien Beach Plaza

Le Méridien Beach Plaza also boasts two outdoor pools and an indoor pool. The large and small outdoor pools are heated to 28°C. Surrounded by a private beach and lined with umbrella pines, this pool offers panoramic sea views. An ideal place to relax or enjoy a cocktail on one of the orange sun loungers and under the white parasols. The indoor pool, set in a light-filled area surrounded by glass roofs, is also heated to 28°C. Its soothing atmosphere is ideal for a leisurely swim or an aquagym session. Please note that these pools are reserved for hotel guests.

Columbus Hotel Monte-Carlo, Curio Collection by Hilton

Less well known, but just as charming, the Columbus Monte-Carlo has a heated outdoor pool with sea views. Accessible only to hotel guests, it provides towels, goggles and armbands. Ideal for a swimming break or a dip in the Fontvieille district.

Wellness Sky Club

Located on the top floor of theHôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, the Wellness Sky Club is a pure invitation to relax. The club's 500 m² of deckchairs and cabanas also include a spacious solarium and a swimming pool with panoramic views of the Mediterranean. A fitness area equipped with Technogym machines will delight sports enthusiasts looking for a revitalising afternoon. You can also book one of the six Sky Club Cabanas for a moment of total relaxation. The adjoining lounge bar is the perfect place to sip a cocktail by the water. This area is reserved for guests of the Paris Monte-Carlo hotel who are members of the My Monte-Carlo programme.

The swimming pool at Novotel Monte-Carlo invites hotel guests to enjoy a swim or relax on a sun lounger. Accompanied by a relaxation area, they can also enjoy a signature cocktail from the Azzurra Pool Bar. The pool is reserved for Novotel guests.
