An ideal park for children and teenagers in Monaco
Looking for something to do as a family in Monaco? Head to Parc Princesse Antoinette and its wide range of facilities for children and teenagers. Younger children can have fun in the numerous playgrounds provided for them: sandpits, slides and swings line the paths.
Parc Princesse Antoinette, which is fully accessible to people with reduced mobility, offers facilities adapted for children with disabilities, including a saucer-shaped swing.
For older children and those who enjoy sport, there are various activities on offer: table tennis tables, two badminton courts (which can be adapted for tennis-ball games) and a multi-sports pitch where you can play basketball and football, all situated in one part of the park.
And, every 15 minutes, a round begins on the 18-hole mini-golf course set up in the heart of Parc Princesse Antoinette. For €5 per person (cash only), you can enjoy this fun and sociable take on golf, suitable for the whole family. You’ll need to book a time slot in advance with the La Boîte de Jeu association, which also offers the option to hire the mini-golf course exclusively for events and organises escape games in the park on request.
Flora and fauna to delight young and old alike
On sunny days, the centuries-old olive trees in Parc Princesse Antoinette provide visitors with ample shade, ensuring everyone’s comfort. These trees still produce olives, which are then pressed at a local mill and turned into oil!
Across one hectare, the council gardeners tend to numerous shrubs, plants and flowers, providing visitors with a colourful setting typical of Mediterranean landscapes. These same gardeners also look after the park’s permanent residents: the animals! Parc Princesse Antoinette is home to a mini-farm, where everyone can get up close to rabbits, chickens, ducks and guinea pigs, as well as sheep and goats. A real countryside atmosphere right in the heart of the city!
A park that comes alive all year round
Like many public venues and spaces in Monaco, Parc Princesse Antoinette follows the changing seasons and the Principality’s cultural calendar to tailor its activities to each period. The garden really comes to life at Easter, with bouncy castles and a range of games and creative workshops on offer for children. Throughout the year, cultural and sporting events punctuate life at the park, which also benefits from its play area and snack bar, Le Cabanon des Jeux, to offer visitors a range of activities (pétanque, wooden games, skittles, etc.) and light refreshments.
