La Condamine Market, the beating heart of the neighbourhood
The historic La Condamine Market, on the Place d'Armes, is a must-visit. Open all year round, it brings together around twenty stallholders offering fresh produce, local specialities and flowers. Both inside the market hall and outside, greengrocers, butchers, bakers, delicatessens, fishmongers and florists all contribute to the market’s unique atmosphere.
This lively, welcoming spot also comes alive at lunchtime and dinnertime, as you can find a table to enjoy a meal made with produce bought directly on the spot. Monegasques and tourists alike love to gather here to chat, share and immerse themselves in the neighbourhood’s daily life.
From 15 January 2026, for a period of 13 months, the interior of the market hall will be closed for a major refurbishment. The traders will therefore set up shop on the Place d’Armes so that they can continue trading throughout the works.
