The Monegasque National Committee of the UNESCO International Association of Art (IAA), founded in 1955 by Etienne Clérissi, is now under the Honorary Presidency of H.S.H. Prince ALBERT II.
The Committee, under the aegis of UNESCO, works to promote the Arts in the Principality and to foster exchanges with artists from all over the world. There are over 80 National Committees of the IAA around the globe.
The Committee's rules allow it to welcome not just artists, but also supporting members, contemporary art enthusiasts or simply residents keen to participate in the cultural life of the Principality by developing living art and the creative sens of the art spectator.
Thanks to the support of the Prince's Government and the Department of Cultural Affairs, the Committee has a workshop where artists are selected for temporary residences to produce works reflective of the Principality, creative heritage for the future.
This time, South Korea will be honoured with an exhibition of art on the theme "Artists' Experience".
