Monte-Carlo International Swimming Meeting
The 30th Monte-Carlo International Swimming Meeting, organised by the Monegasque Swimming Federation, will take place on 9 and 10 June 2012
Not only was 2011 a year of amazing World Championships – it was also an exceptional year for swimming in the Principality. Three Olympic champions, ten world champions and 12 silver and bronze medallists all competed in the Prince Albert II Olympic swimming pool.
On Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 June, many athletes will come and compete in preparation for London 2012, as the Monegasque stage of the Mare Nostrum swimming competition is a qualifier for the 30th summer Olympiad.
The Mare Nostrum circuit will comprise the 33rd Meeting in the city of Barcelona (Spain) on 2 and 3 June and the 25th Meeting in Canet en Roussillon (France) on 6 and 7 June.
The A finals of the 30th Monte-Carlo International Swimming Meeting and the 20th Speed Tournament will take place from 5 pm in the swimming pool at the Stade Louis II (Louis II Stadium).
