Monte-Carlo Gala for Planetary Health

These uncertain times are a reminder that our health is the most important of our human rights, and that it is time to listen to our planet and act individually and collectively.

To meet these crucial challenges, Prince Albert II of Monaco will be inviting patrons of the arts, decision-makers, artists, intellectuals and scientists to join forces for this prestigious event. The Gala will showcase the Foundation's various initiatives to bridge the gap between health and the environment.

Protecting the oceans and the earth for the future of humanity

In June 2006, H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco decided to create His Foundation to respond to the worrying threats to our planet's environment. The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation works to protect the environment and promote sustainable development on a global scale. It focuses its efforts on priority areas: climate change, biodiversity and marine resource management in the major geographical regions of the Mediterranean Basin, the Polar Regions and the Least Developed Countries.
Thanks to the involvement of Prince Albert II of Monaco and the unfailing financial support of environmentalists, NGOs, companies and individuals, the Foundation has carried out over 540 projects since 2006.
The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation has ten international offices in France, the United States, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Canada, Germany, Italy, Singapore, Spain and China.
