Monte-Carlo Summer Festival

Rock, pop and electro

Since 2006, the Monte-Carlo Summer Festival has established itself as a key event on the international music scene.

The 2025 edition, orchestrated by Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer and its Artistic Director Alfonso Ciulla, offers an exceptionally diverse programme. From 5 July to 15 August, the legendary Salle des Etoiles will play host to icons such as Billy Idol, Carlos Santana and Will Smith, alongside up-and-coming talents such as Benson Boone. A new feature this year is Paul Kalkbrenner's openness to electro music, creating an unprecedented synergy with the legendary Jimmy'z Monte-Carlo.

From vibrant tributes to rock legends to the golden age of soul celebrated by the Motown All-Stars show over ten dates, this iconic festival continues to bring musical excellence to Monaco's azure skies, offering spectators a truly unforgettable summer experience.

A summer tradition

The Monte-Carlo Summer Festival symbolises the cultural and human adventure begun by François Blanc, founder of the Société des Bains de Mer: offering a dream in one of the world's most beautiful destinations.

Since 1974, every year in July and August, the organisers of this event, considered to be a genuine tradition in the Principality, have put together a line-up of shows to suit all tastes and all generations.

Each year, the Principality resonates and vibrates to the rhythm of legendary artists who follow one another at a frenetic pace, offering unforgettable performances by Rod Stewart, Deep Purple, Mariah Carey, Santana, Frank Sinatra, Shirley Bassey, Tina Turner, Pharell Williams, Macklemore, Christine / The Queens and many others...

And the Festival hasn't just attracted the biggest stars in every style of music. It's also a place of discovery, a springboard from which young stars like Jamie Cullum, Rihanna, Mika and Alicia Keys have soared...

From standing and seated concerts to one-man shows and cabaret, the Monte-Carlo Summer Festival is always changing with the times. Years come and go, but they're never the same...

The festival evolves!

Since 2021, it has been taking over Monte-Carlo's legendary venues: the Place du Casino, specially designed for the occasion, and the Opéra Garnier in addition to the Sporting Club.

That's why the festival has changed its name from Monte-Carlo Sporting Monte-Carlo Summer Festival to Monte-Carlo Summer Festival.

Exclusive settings for exceptional performances: the Salle des Etoiles is one of Europe's most fascinating theatres. Its unique feature is an impressive roof that can be retracted in just a few minutes... so you can enjoy a show under the stars.

The Garnier Opera House, a miniature replica of the Paris Opera House, with its unique view over the Mediterranean, is one of the Principality's most exclusive venues.

The Place du Casino, recently renovated with the arrival of the One Monte-Carlo district in 2020, has been modernised with its removable palm trees, giving pride of place to events.
