Monaco from the sky
To soar above Monaco is to take a fresh look at one of the jewels of the Riviera. In just a few minutes, you go from the hustle and bustle of the narrow streets to the immensity of the sky. Up there, the Mediterranean stretches as far as the eye can see, the relief softens and the light embraces the entire Principality. The promise of an unforgettable moment, somewhere between dream and reality.
Two companies offer this unique experience: Monacair|Blade, the international benchmark for panoramic flights, and Héli Air Monaco, a pioneer based in the Principality since 1976. Both offer a variety of itineraries, bookable online or on the spot: an elegant, efficient service, designed to make every flight a moment apart.
To each his own horizon
Located at the foot of the Fontvieille district, a stone's throw from the Princess Grace Rose Garden Monaco's heliport already seems to be flying over the sea. It's from this "terrace" overlooking the Grande Bleue that the adventure begins. Several itineraries are available, ranging from short flights to longer escapades. 10, 20, 30 or 45 minutes: to each his own duration, to each his own horizon.
From the very first flapping of the blades, the Principality is revealed in a breathtaking panorama. In ten minutes, you'll be flying over the essentials: Monaco-Ville and its Prince's Palace the Port Hercule, the Larvotto beach the curves of the Formula 1 circuit, and the countless parks and gardens that dot the city. An almost unreal parade that captures all the diversity of Monaco.
In twenty minutes, the flight extends beyond Monaco's borders: the wooded capes of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, the bay of Villefranche-sur-Mer, the mosaic of rooftops of Vieux-Nice, the eternal City of Angels, then, further west still, Cannes and its Lérins islands, the Estérel massif and Saint-Tropez. Further east, we fly over the imposing Cap Martin, the colorful houses of Menton, all the way to Italy! From the air, the southern light sculpts the landscape, revealing turquoise coves, rocky promontories and hilltop villages. The spectacle is grandiose.
The longest itineraries, from thirty to forty-five minutes, take this exploration even further towards Italy and the first coasts of Liguria. Here San Remo, there Imperia. From the sky, borders blur to make way for an incredible tableau vivant.
Extend your escape
Want to go even further? Some itineraries are transformed into veritable aerial micro-adventures: "experience" flights for those who want a more personalized overflight. These can be private tours, flexible schedules or original routes over perched villages in the hinterland, such as Saint-Paul de Vence, Èze or Gourdon, Sainte-Agnès or La Turbie.
These itineraries can be adapted to suit all tastes, for a more exclusive, more intimate discovery. A different way to contemplate the region's spectacular geography, following a tailor-made itinerary.
Art of living at altitude
What if your flight were to become the starting point for an exceptional day out? Lunch in a Michelin-starred restaurant, a round of golf on a prestigious green, a visit to a vineyard or a transfer to one of the most beautiful ski resorts, Courchevel, Megève or Isola 2000: it's all possible. The Héli Air Monaco website offers a whole range of tailor-made packages.
