In 2009, H.R.H. The Princess of Hanover, at the suggestion of Jean-Christophe Maillot, choreographer-director of Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo, appointed Luca Masala Artistic Director of the Académie Princesse Grace. The aim is to bring the Academy closer to the Compagnie des Ballets de Monte-Carlo and the Monaco Dance Forum, in order to accentuate the pre-professional dimension of the students. This partnership now enables students aged 13 to 18 from different countries to familiarize themselves with the professional world of dance, to meet great artists and to be at the heart of major cultural events in Monaco. In this way, students can give concrete meaning to their dreams.

The multi-disciplinary teaching includes dance classes, artistic training and school courses adapted to the different nationalities welcomed. To meet this major challenge, the Académie has assembled a teaching team made up of teachers and artists with international careers. Renowned for the excellence of its teaching, the Académie Princesse Grace has become the partner of prestigious institutions such as the Prix de Lausanne, where some of its students have distinguished themselves brilliantly. Within the walls of this school, students become not only accomplished dancers, but also well-rounded, cultured and curious individuals.
