The Chapelle des Carmes straddles the Rousse-Saint Roman and Larvotto districts.
Its dimensions (18.30 metres long x 10.60 metres wide) are smaller than those of the first church.
It was dedicated to and placed under the patronage of Sainte Thérèse de Lisieux (Sainte Thérèse de l'Enfant-Jésus) and, following the naming tradition of yesteryear, it is also known by the faithful as the "Chapelle des Carmes".
The church was designed according to the canons of the neo-classical style, whose structure and sobriety it embodies, with a few modern inspirations.
