Fontvieille Harbour

When these new plots of land (17 hectares reclaimed from the sea) were developed, part of the area was set aside for the creation of a marina. Situated at the foot of the Rock of Monaco on its eastern side, Fontvieille Harbour is undoubtedly one of the best-sheltered in the region, as it is protected from easterly winds by the Rock and from southerly and westerly swells by the large breakwater that safeguards the entire Fontvieille district.  Right in the heart of the residential district of Fontvieille, the marina is a fully-fledged facility offering all the amenities required by both visiting and permanent boaters. This haven of peace can accommodate up to 275 boats with a maximum draught of 3 metres. Boaters have access to all the services necessary for the smooth running of a marina: water and electricity at every berth, as well as toilets and showers. Close to the marina, you’ll also find a shopping centre, supermarkets, Monaco’s heliport and the Stade Louis II sports complex. The many restaurants lining the waterfront, along with the surrounding shops, make Fontvieille Marina a vibrant hub where it’s lovely to stroll at any time of year. Built between 1966 and 1973. Reception open during the season from 7.00 am to 9.30 pm. The marina is patrolled 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Facilities: 275 berths, including 16 for visitors subject to availability. Harbour Master’s Office: Quai Jean Charles REY or VHF channel 9. Mooring: 3 concrete quays and 4 floating jetties. Services: Fresh water, electricity at the quayside and on the pontoons (220V / 380V), 4 showers, 4 toilets, public telephone and on-board telephone on request. TV on the quay, self-service launderette in town, collection points for used oil and batteries, fuel available at the jetty (BP station) at Port Hercule, black water disposal (BP station at Port Hercule).
